a tour de force! before matchmaker even?
many thanks magbhitu! i absolutely forgot to use matchmaker, and i had to search to remember what brush it was!
Thank you for remembering me this tool!
Nice one, like it.
Have you tried merging the pottery and decoration with Dynamesh?. It’s a bit glued on, which still looks nice but my personal favor goes for a small transition between the pottery with both flower deco and the baroque leaves. I like the serene render too, are you planning to fill it with “real” leaves and flowers, that would look really nice.
beautiful architectual element and what a great progression !
beautiful, I really like, you have some mini tutorial or a reference?
thanks rudymassar. all the hardness of this work was to sculpt the leaves and flowers as they are on the original marble. lightly in, lightly out. i’ve not tryed this model with Dynamesh…i have to!!
thanks Kokoro!
PFC666, happy you like it. i join a picture made in Paris last year. i was discovering the real reference as i had only worked with the scan and some pictures.

hair looks great is it zbrush hair exported to blender ? if so, would you share how you achieved the nice render of it, please
thanks Kokoro. No, unfortunately, it’s “only” blender 2.49 hair. i can’t find time to work Zbrush hair. i don’t think i shall manage such a number of poly.
great !! wow, and the blender hair goes nicely in the animation…maybe i should learn that too
here is an other test. with other expressions, he seams to be an other guy!
