ha ha glad @Vir Norin! She lives in my town, but i’ve not met her, and would be impressed two. Though she’s an interesting reference. Glad something in my modeling can show that

Hi. Well, i had some little problems with my body, and also my tablet…but all is going well. Though i had energy to resolve my deception with 3d printing…little and expensive. So i created paper models. I still think that before creating few faces in Blender, i have to create the original model in Zbrush. So here are the first models, Lion 60cm, girl 70cm, bear 100cm…

Those paper models are amazing. care to explain your process? Very inspiring.

Thanks @Ehren. Well process is mostly simple: after creating the modeling Zbrush, i work in Blender to create what will be the faces of paper model. It would be technically better to late more triangles…but i love rectangles…then i use Pepakura, very precise for the work. I print on paper and work on folds before cutting. then using simple glue. here it is!!

Cool result but too delicate.
I wonder what would happen (or how it would look) if you would cover it and smooth it with an acryl or something like that.

that’s exactly what i’m working on…

Grat to hear  Can’t wait to see it.

Wow! How on earth did you create paper models from your sculpt???

Update: Just read above post! Amazing and great thinking!

Awesome work Xada!
Totaly aamazing

Bravo, these are intriguing :+1:

Still working on this real big size models. I’m searching the most little number of face. Though i’m sure i have to create this work from a real detailed Zbrush model.

Cool
How long does it take to glue it up?

@nebular, i spend most of time 2 days on each one, from printing to finish glueing

Classe! Bravo!

Incredible! I absolutely love the art style!

This is one of the things that should be in the top row.
I have never seen anything like it, I haven’t seen many things that are this cool, and its one of the most outstanding uses of ZBrush, and of sculpting in general that I know of. On top of all that, you actually tell us how you are doing it, and that’s beyond awesome.
I think you are a friggin genius.\

Do one of Aurick, and make it 80 meters tall, that will get some attention.
Especially if it straddles the entrance to a harbor.

Sorry @MealeaYing, i just discover your message. your incredible message.
Well i don’t know what or who Aurick is. Though you’re right on one thing: after being preparing 3d printing on the base of €, i know prepare 3d sculpture on the base of meters! ha ha!

I love all these paper sculptures, but the octopus I love most.
