I don’t think that Ownage is cheaper than sculpteo on the HD printing. The difference if I’m not wrong, is that Ownage is doing some manual postwork on the 3D prints, that you won’t find in companies like Sculpteo, shapeways, etc…
i’m sure ownage is very more expensive!!!:D;)
keyshot renders. wow!

Very nice toonshader. Fits that girlie perfectly and gives her a classy style.
umm, her shoes are not finished yet, i suppose?
Thanks Jake for your fidelity!
well, those damn shoes are plently black…so nothing happened with the posterisation…
This sort of render may be a good way for me to improve that girl mesh that i think is ready for many poses…it’s hard to find the way between the sculpt, what is that i do, and the finished picture, that is a really pain for me!!!
the same one improving Cycle.happy with this free solution!
Super sculpts!
When you import your ZBrush sculpts into Blender, do you retopo them first or just export at the highest resolution? Do you polypaint in ZBrush or in Blender? Do you create and use UVs in Blender?
Thanks for any responses!
LH
thanks lhumungus.
well, these models are differents.
Usually, i make details and polypaint in Zbrush, export my model low poly with UV diffuse map and normal map, subdivise in Blender, and rig, etc…
the green girl is an export decimated i’ve done for 3dprinting, without any texture, only Cycle materials.
The redhair one is exported medium poly (64KP) and textured with UV polypaint done in Zbrush.
i just discover cycle. Hope i’ll be back with animation soon.
When you say export low poly, do you mean you sculpt your model at high poly with details, then retopologize, build your UVs on the low poly, and export? Or are all your sculpts relatively low poly?
For example, redhair looks like she could be 500K+ polygons, but you say she was only 64K. Is that because you retopo-ed her to a smaller poly or you just never get up to the high resolution sculpts?
I hate having to retopo, so I’m looking for options to sculpt and texture something nice, and then import it into blender or Vue scenes for final render.
Thanks again for your responses,
LH
you’re welcome. I try to make my models low poly in Blender. actually, i often use 3 or 4 same meshes i’ve done for my male and female sculpts. Those have been done with very low poly (the video). i just had sometime to retopologise some details on the head, shoulders, toes etc…
So, i can work low or very high poly now, choose if i export low with normal maps to rigg, or semi high for render or printing. you can then use a modifier only for render.
when i have a lot of details for a print, i use decimation, like for this girl.
Very nice print!! Did you print it yourself (own your own printer) or what site did you order from? She came out very nice
thanks Clintus Maximus.
It’s been printed at “sculpteo.com”, french factory.
i’d like we should have an european ownage…they are still far…
Keep up the practice - makes me want to make some busts too. Next up for me is anatomty studies so I might do that. The one above makes me think of the old version of Marius from the Diablo 2 cinematics.
I have to try him into Cycles!
firstable. thank you so much Pixologic. it’s a crazy thing that free update. soon we will sculpt only with our mind!!!
second: i’m glad to share here, with a newversion of my girls, that Triumph i’m happy with, done in Blender. Renders Cycles.
An other cycles test. it’s really helpfull for a guy like me. It’s my spidey which is on blend Swap. i’m going to update with the cycles textures.
sorry, you’ve seen this girl many times…but Cycles helps so much. yes, i can imagine a scene now!
awesum man reminds me of vampira…
Well, I prefer this version Xada
