Bury me with the Lo on

The Lo-Life culture emerged in the 1980s in New York City, particularly within the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and the Bronx. It was a subculture primarily focused on the pursuit and display of luxury fashion brands, specifically Polo Ralph Lauren.
Lo-Life members, also known as Lo-Lifes or Lo Heads, would go to great lengths to acquire and wear Polo Ralph Lauren clothing, often resorting to illegal activities such as shoplifting or credit card fraud. The brand’s iconic logo, the Polo horse and rider, became a symbol of status and belonging within the Lo-Life community.
