Bump or Normal map creation error

Imported a figure into zbrush,no subdivision.
Approximately 800,000 polys.
Created a texture map from Polypaint.
Uv’s check out.
Spent a lot of time with spotlight on hirez photos.
If I apply the bump viewer material, the spotlight painting
of diffuse painting has given me all that I could wish for in a bump map.
Now.
If I go to the Muli Map exporter it exports only the diffuse,
If I go to Normal Map section,it reads “Map can not be created while subdivision level
is active.
Switch to lower subdivison level”

There ain’t any lower subdivision level
Same message for displacement map
Is there a way to create either a bump or normal map without
trashing the uv and diffuse map I have made.

Subdivide once, delete the higher one and try again. It worked for me the one time I had the same annoying issue as you.

Won’t this destroy the existing UV’s and make the created dffuse, and bump viewer image
worthless?

Normal map truly “made” the image. Was very frustrating
