Bugz! (answered)

I didn’t see a bugs thread.
Don’t kow if this is a bug or
an ID-10t error…:stuck_out_tongue:

  • Create a new window sized doc.

  • Then, doube it’s size

  • Hit Ctrl+0 for AAhalf

  • Drop a tool on it. (joke censored)

  • Save project

  • Close Z, ReOpen Z and load said saved project.

  • BUGZ!.lol The project seems to not be saving, loading and displaying properly so is it me or is it a bug?

Thank you,

~MAH~

I tried this and it is working correctly for me.

What is exactly the issue?

Not sure. let me explore more…I’ll let you know.
As I always say, I could be mistaken.

i made a test with: and no problem here…

Okay, now that I have had some sleep. Tried it again.
Here is the issue. My ZBrush is not saving my specific document size settings with the project.
To avoid a whole bunch of doc size numbers, let me simplify this if I can.

Window size is Zero (0)
Doubling its size Two (2)
AAhalf is One (1). not a Zero but a one because it contains double the data.

Saving this project set to 1 loads this same project as 0 and then drops it down to AAhalf (-1).

So, as I said, ZBrush is not saving my specific document size settings in the project file. It does when saving a Doc but not a project. I don’t know about you but I haven’t saved a doc since project files were introduced.

Hope that helps explain things.

This isn’t really a bug. maybe a quasi bug :stuck_out_tongue:

Before saving your .ZPR turn off “WSize” under Document. This will let zbrush save/load the correct document size from your .ZPR

Tada!!! Thanks man, that did it. It’s a bug though…but that did it all right.
