I’m running into a problem where when I am using Zbrush 4R8 and try to use Zmodeler on my primary monitor, the menu goes off screen limiting its functionality. Strangely, this only happens when my zbrush window is docked on my primary monitor (I can work around this by moving it to one of my other monitors) and trying to access the polygon menu options (edge and vertex menus still function). Zbrush 4R7’s zmodeler works fine. Something is wonky in 4R8 but I’m wondering if there’s something I can do in my computer’s dispay settings to fix this? Anyone else have this problem? Hopefully someone at Pixologic sees this and can look into it.
You need a higher resolution on that screen - 1280x1024 is the minimum resolution in the ZBrush system specs.
Well, that’s no good :/. My laptop’s screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768 and with windows 10 I can’t find a way to go beyond that. I’ve seen some people have been able to increase their screens resolution, but I can’t find advanced display options for windows 10.
You could try reducing the button size in Preferences>Interface>Ui. That may be enough to get the whole dialog to appear.
Ahh! That seems to have solved my problem, and as a small bonus my custom UI fits a little better as well! Thank you for your help Marcus
Great! And you’re welcome.
