at least I think it’s a bug… doesn’t seem like appropriate behavior anyway.
if you’re using local transforms, right click navigation behaves as if you’ve sculpted on the mesh. meaning, the center of the local transform changes to wherever you right clicked to rotate. I’ve found this to be very problematic when working on a tight area such as a head, and then rotating around and accidentally right click navigating on an object such as a hand or shoulder that has rotated into the foreground. The center changes, and then the area I was working on gets rotated out of my view.
Is this working as intended?
