Bug Dynamesh Substract?

I found a bug with dynamesh susbtract. It rarely work for me and this is the solution i found to make it work. DO I do something wrong. Is there better workaround?

You’ve got your objects backwards in the subtool order between step 6 & 7.

Make sure the object your subtracting is below the primary object and then merge down. Once you do this a dynamesh with multigroup on should subtract as expected.

In other words you’ve got PM3D_Cylinder3D_1 below PM3D_Cylinder3D_2. If you want to subtract the 2 from the 1 move the 1 above the 2 in the subtool order and then merge down.

Dynamesh is nice but subtracting is fickle and frustrating at times. It’s still buggy and not always predictable.

Also, make sure the tool you’re using to subtract has fewer polygons than the other,
