brushes are behaving strange

Hey Guys

I’m having a couple of issues. My brushes are behaving strange, and they all do the same thing, once I rotate the mesh it goes away and the effect I was after is displayed. But I obviously can’t sculpt the mesh and work like that. if you take a look at the Screen Shot you’ll see what I mean. The second issue im having is when I try to fire up ZBrush it just doesn’t want to fire! I get that windows rotating blue thinking icon on my curser and that is as far as it wants to go. I CTRL+ALT Delete and End Task and it might fire up, but sometimes I have to reboot and then it will start. Im using the trial version right now and will buy it soon but I probably can’t uninstall and reinstall because it’s a trial version. I’m using:
Win 7 Ultimate
ATI Radeon HD 5670 x2
Ram 9G

I dont know about the display issue: do you have the latest video drivers? The non start could be after a crash, then the application zbrush isnt running but the process could be. Check in your running processes (cntrl+alt+del) there may still be a zbrush process running, end it and start zbrush normally.

Hey Kanga hows it goin?

I’ve tried all that. Sometimes it it fires up, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes after checking in with the Pixologic server and clicking the OK button it shuts down completely, just blinks off back to the Desktop. I don’t get it! When I buy it this summer and if that continues I’m going to be A bent out of shape! It’s running OK now. That brush issue hasn’t caused any problems today, but it’s done it to me twice though. Hmm, I don’t know.

Is it a trial version? Makes no difference. If it is a serious problem then it is best to use a support ticket. The guys over at support are pretty darn good. Ben doesn’t bite.

OK, don’t know what a support ticket is but I’ll look into it. I just now fired up ZB and it seems to be fine.

Its answered in there somewhere, its something to do with the zoom feature if I remember correctly.
