It seems like after a while of using zbrush, I get this weird dual brush effect. For example if I try to use the move brush it also tries to smooth the model… This is the same with the standard brush. Is there a dual brush function in zbrush that I don’t know about? thanks!
I haven’t heard of that one before. Could you post some examples?
it’s pretty straightforward…Imagine using the “move” brush, and as you’re moving your mesh, the brush completely smooths out the portion that you have selected. This also occurs with the standard brush, so as I’m painting layers of mesh, it also smooths out all details in that mesh… By examples, do you mean pictures?
do u have the alternate smooth turned on at the bottom of the brush palette? I think default is set to 0. Yours may be set at 1 or more.
Thanks tom, that was the problem… The thing is, I use the dam standard tool which uses an auto smooth of one,and I use hotkeys to switch between brushes. the problem is that sometimes the settings of one brush is transfered to the next brush, therefore causing smooth problems when I use the move/standard brush… Thanks again!
