For some reason the hot key for brush size increase decrease doesn’t work for me. I use [ and ] to control the brush size,
but now when i push on it, nothing happens.
Is there a reason why it stopped in version r7?
It still works for me on 4r7, although I never use those keys to change the brush size. I would suggest holding the spacebar and changing your settings through the brush pop-up menu. It is much faster.
For some reason those hotkeys can be lost with the default installation but you can easily restore them. Simply reassign the hotkeys:
- The buttons are in the Zplugin palette, in the Misc Utilities sub-palette towards the top. They are the <<Brush and Brush>> buttons.
- Ctrl+Alt+click on a button and then press the relevant key on the keyboard.
- Remember to store the new hotkeys before closing ZBrush by pressing Preferences>Hotkeys>Store. They will then be available each time you start ZBrush.
