I’m still new to zBrush, I’ve only used it a handful of times.
I never had this problem. I choose any brush by clicking on the brush button then the brushes popup come up and I choose any brush and it’s still the standard.
I can’t get any brush but standard.
What am I doing wrong?
Actualy I can get other burshes just not any smooth brushes?
Are you using 3.5R3?
Hold down the shift key to use the smooth brush.

Select a Smooth brush of your Choice
Now, when clicking on a Smooth brush, you automatically define the new Smoothing brush that will be used when pressing the Shift key. It is no longer possible to select a Smooth brush separately as with the other brushes.
If you need to change the kind of Smooth brush, simply pick a new one. Your selection will then become active every time you hold down the Shift key, until you select a different Smooth brush.
To change the modifiers for the currently-selected Smooth brush, hold down the Shift key and make your changes. (For example, hold Shift and adjust the Z Intensity slider.) These changes will only affect the Smooth brush.
