brush problem

hi, i made this model with zspheres, i unified the skin and cliked make polymesh 3D, i saved the tool on the tool panel with save as, now the day after i load the tool but i cant use any brush on it, wy? the model is still in 3D, i can rotate scale move but i cant use any brush
