brush options, 3.5R3

ZBrush Usage Questions

Hi all^^

I am new to ZBrush and I can't find these brush options in my brush palette, where are these options? I use 3.5R3.

That’s a shot from an earlier version of ZBrush. In 3.5 R3 the options are all there in the Brush palette, under various submenus. For example, click on Auto Masking to locate the BackfaceMask and CavityMask options.

Thanks for the quick help, I practice with the book Digital Sculpting by Scott Spencer and I was most despair because I haven’t found this settings.

I highly recommend with 3D software books to always get the newest book on the shelf. chances are the interface will change enough to justify an updated instruction book. Avoid Introducing Zbrush with Eric Keller. At the very least until His new 4.0 update book is out in January. You wont find the DVD very useful due to the Macros not working in the 3.5R3 version of zbrush. your better off with his digital sculpting human anatomy book. Its 3.5 friendly. Has videos and project files instead of macros.
