I’m new to zbrush and i’m trying to familiarize with the basics.
There is a plenty of different brushes to select from but what brushes are really different?
I mean stitch and track and slash brushes look as the same brush for me only with different alphas. Or they have different mechanics? If i want to make similar brush with my own alpha, which builtin brush i should choose as source? Does it matter?
What’s the difference between noise brushes? Can i just tweak settings of Noise1 and get a Noise3? Is noise brushes basically just standard brush with added noise?
Is the nudge brush is the same as move brush with different setting?
Actually that amount of very similar brushes looks like marketing trick and just confuses me.
I just want to read somewhere clear breakdown like this:
Bush type one:
stitch, track and slash - different presets of the same brush
Brush type:
Noise 1,2,3,4. standard brush
etc
