Brush blanked out? (answered)

Hi, I’ve currently opened the demo head, and to start learning zbrush i’ve decided to model some one from a picture, but after adding the demohead, It blanks out the brush and just keeps adding more heads when i click, The brush shows as standard, when i click my brush screen, it shows “load, save as” and their doesn’t seem to be a brush active?

Sure theirs a easy fix?

thanks in advance.

Pfff How do i shot web ?

…wow. Didn’t think there were people like this around on these forums. <_<

The problem here seems to be that you are “painting” your current tool (the demohead in this instance) on the 2.5D canvas. I recommend looking up “Pixols” to further understand this concept, as I don’t really feel like explaining it here (since I am not sure I completely understand it either)
To “fix” this, you press “T” to enter Edit mode.
This will pick up the last tool you’ve drawn on the canvas using the drag and drop draw mode. To remove the rest of the heads scattered across the canvas, press ctrl+N to clear the canvas.

Remember, to work and sculpt a mesh, you need to be in Draw (Q) and Edit (T) mode. the buttons can be found above the canvas in the default layout.

A good place to start with ZBrush is the ZClassroom:
