Bringing in and Baking a bump map

hey guys i have a question thats annoyed me for a while when in zbrush i use zapplink to texture my models and i am currently doing a hard surface model and the texture which i painted on to it gives off a really nice bump map to it when i use a bump matcap. My question is can i bake this into the actual model, altering the actual geometry.

look into using it as a displacement map instead of a bump.
