Jason Belec: Thank you sir.

smokebox46and2: Thank you. strategy? errrr divide and conquer! haha. I guess starting in maya and trying to get an understanding for edge flow would be the best start. Keep the flow of muscles in mind but also try remember you need to animate it. One day I hope to do a tut. Life is filled up at the moment.

abyss103: Hey dude. Thanks for the kind words

industripop: Thank you! hahaha. Men are terrible creatures

rubent100: Thank you. Heres my dodgy old base mesh. Yikes.
The green and blue parts were added as I was exploring this characters design. I usually build a base mesh. But decided to try this route for this character.

Revanto: Thanks for the crit. I’ll check that out.

fabianloing: Thanks man. I love your work. Any chance of seeing some more?

edgeart. Hehe. Thanks for the kind words. Good luck with your lady model

linkin_park: Thanks. You can always build one default model to work off of. Just keep in mind you get better detail out of a better topology.

3dmaya: thank you.

Thanks again everyone.

mmm - mmm.

nice works !

Don’t know what to say except that your works are amazing, I love them!

Hi dude, nice work, have to congratulate you on the top row after all the hard work and tiers.
I love the lobster creature really lovely, make sure you send me a hi res of him want to print that one for my wall dude.

Your talent keeps amazing me every time I see your new work.
Really wish I were you.

My only problem is that the girl looks fantastic from behind, but her leg musculature is rather masculine from the front.

Thanks again everyone for the comments and crits.

I got a chance to do more work on the crayfish character. The hands and lower part of the shell still need attention. Hope you like it.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers

wowwwwww this is looking amazing. i love the texture and detail on the back shell area. keep it up!

Hi,
great detail work.Keep it coming.:sunglasses: :+1:

Looking tight my friend! You going to pose this bad boy when you are fininshed?

Seeing your character makes me want to work on a character of mine the I concepted out a few years ago. I can’t work on him beacuse I have tooooo many projects going on at once. (I’m trying to finish some things.) Bad habit of mine.

If you get time you could take a look here.

Can’t wait to see the final sculpt.

Peace - NickZ.

I almost ran out of password attempts, but now that I’m in: Crayfish Man :grimacing: . Great work mate and congrats for the Top Row!

Heck, where I came from, we used to catch and shell those guys and serve ‘m up with some melted butter. Some really good eatin’ there, boy. Seriously, great job on your Crayfish Man. :+1:

looking really good, the plating work is strong, any thoughts on a color scheme for this guy yet. nice work.

Beautiful work! The crayfish creature is awesome (as well as the rest). Thanks for sharing.
