Breaking a mesh up for printing

I’ve read poboyross’s thread ‘Making of Sweet Mary Jane’. Several other programs like Maya were used. Does ZB4 have any improvements that makes breaking up a mesh easier?

I would like to know this as well?

There is a nice little software available that will repair and slice a .STL file and prepare it for 3D printing… it is located at http://www.netfabb.com/and it is callednetfabb Studio Basic It is free. I use it all the time to prep models for printing.

Interface is a little stiff but it slices a model like no other program.

My fall back was 3DS max and it was doable barely.

Let me know if it works for you!
