Great :+1: :+1: :+1:

Stargo

Great perspective !
Is a spray use ?

Don’t miss the official site of Maurits Cornelius Escher A must !
And a visit an abym descent in escher engraving !
Pilou

All of the above and then some! Terrific use of perspective - and imagination. :+1: :+1: :+1:

Very nice Mentat7! Did you use the global perspective feature? I had tried using it several times and could not get it to work. I gave it one more shot today, a guess what, it worked! Great image and I look forward to the update Mr. MC E!
One more thing, the MM polymesh object in the foreground would help the perspective even more if you duplicated it and placed it scaled further in the background on one of those beams.
:+1:

Sirquad…ummmm…that isn’t my pic…it’s belongs to WingedOne…

It’s an interesting futuristic view of
a an abyss in a metropolis. Cool

Wow this is great!, as everyone said the sense of depth (or rather height I would say, it feels like im hundreds of feet up looking down) is almost overwhelming  .

Cool Image, WingedOne! The sense of depth, as others have pointed out is awesome. Adding some people and vehicles would give a better sense of scale.

Talking about Eshcer, here’s a url for somebody with toomuchdamnfreetime who did a series of Echer in Lego blocks:
Echer Balony in Legos

Good work WO, and looking forward to the finished work.

mr

Simply fantastic WingedOne!!! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

Thanks for the kind replies everyone.

Here’s the latest update with the city lights texture added and a little tweaking to the lighting.

For the texture, first I started a new document at size 512x512 and made a texture consisting of a basic material and a light green and a light blue glow material. Then I MRGBZ grabbed the texture and applied the texture to the cubical skin tool which I had saved previously. I created a new layer and since I had a marker placed in the scene for it and I new what size the original was I just placed the cubical skin in the layer using the marker.

As always 121 welcome.

Next steps will be adding the people and vehicles and maybe a little more tweaking of the textures, materials and lighting.

splendid falling effect!great! :+1: :+1: :+1:

wow. Love it

Ve-reee impresive.
If I had one tiny critisism (which I didn’t notice on first look) it is that the foreground platform seems to have a different perspective to the rest of the piece.

Dave

Once again, very cool.

I know you’re still working on it, but I’d like to suggest some black fog or ‘blue haze’ to increase the sense of height or depth. Some was lost after the new texture was applied.

Another option I was thinking of was to have a wooded park at the bottom, like Central Park, NYC, with lots of water. And some clear glass tubes covering the roadways might be cool. Just suggestions! :+1:

Squeakypics, thanks for pointing that out. I didn’t notice that either. I’ll try to get it fixed in the next version.

Interesting ideas, Jaycephus, I’ll do some experimenting and see how it turns out.

You are welcome. I feel a bit odd suggesting these things as they are all way beyond my expertise in ZB.
Good work though. It is very rare to see a ZB piece with such depth.

Huge Regards
Dave

Very nice, :+1: any update as yet regarding people and vehicles etc
