here’s something i whipped up real quick. i recently saw Braveheart and thought it was a really cool. so i decided to make the sword. the whole thing took about 45 minutes to make. it’s not multi-markered and it’s not that detailed, but i still think it’s pretty cool.

2 tube on the outer edge 1 solid one set transparent.
the white cross or X look in the center is one of the default alpha.
the handle (sweeprofile 3D)modifiers>intitializer with material from pix new material pack,
the gadget on the sword were hand made by like 3d cube stretched out mask all apply col and inflat and some other stuff.
like the chrome ring on the top of the handle
ring 3d 180 radius then flaten the outer edge. the gold in the middle of the sword was made with sweep profile 3d all so.
over layed with the ring 3d i flatten the outer edge.
i dunno but sword’s look easy but they can be hard.
its hard to make them look right.
