That’s a good looking base mesh, I have herd that it is best to start you characters a bit thin because it is easer to increase there volume than it is to decrease it. I don’'t know this for shore, Look forward to updates.

Second step:

…stronger man!
Have fun Zbrushing!

Very cool drawing!!!

The sketch looks super cool. Can’t wait once the Z-power has been added to your model. However, it seems like you have subdivided too early in the process… (I could be wrong though) Post some more

The reference image is very strong and gives you everything you need to complete this character. Though I would suggest playing closer attention as for example, his hands and feet are much bigger. Also I think you have sub devided too early.

I would suggest doing a very simple base mesh and taking it to another application to retopologise and then bringing it back to zbrush. I’m not fully convinced by zspheres at handling human bipeds.

cool concept character, but you’ve gone too far too soon. the base mesh needs work before you get into the details of the horns and muscles. can’t put up the wallpaper without having a wall to put it on…so to speak.

good luck on this. i hope it turns out awesome!

Just wanted to be clear that his is not your concept, as you didn’t indicate it as much. This concept belongs to James Brian Jones a.k.a Bobo the seal http://www.bobotheseal.com/personal_work/concepts/BFP2_Brahma.jpg http://www.bobotheseal.com . It looks like you’re just starting out, so just as a warning flare in the future be sure to mention or link to where you got your references.

As to your model, as others have stated, too soon with the details. work as much as you can on the lower sub d levels until there’s absolutely nothing else you can do, and then divide and continue.

Cheers and good luck
