Hi! I have a scene, in pixols… no more edit mode!.. is the BPR render available?.. it works with an editable tool, but seems uanivailable with a pixol scene…
BPR only works with a mesh tool in Edit mode.
Marcel you can still render things that are 2.5D and its sometimes amazing.
Since I dont know what a lot of the stuff in the Render Pallet does I go for overkill and so someone may come along and say “you dont need this or that is just slowing things down” and I hope that they do.
Ok to render things in 2.5D:
- First dock the Render Pallet (you dont have to but it makes life easy).
- Turn on basically everything except FOG and DEPTH CUE (they dont do much if anything).
- Now hit the BEST button.
- If you like how it came out, great! If not hit PREVIEW so you can do back to drawing (with it set to best it tries to render every time you do something).
- If you want to cancel a render hit the escape key, sometimes more than once.
When I first got Zbrush I was rather put off by 2.5D (I could not understand WHY it was even there) but have since discovered that it is one of the most amazing things I have ever used. To put it mildly I love 2.5D, its awesome.
Once you get into 2.5D you might want to start using it on 3D objects and many people will simply say “you cant” but that is not true, you can using the Projection Master and the results can be astonishing.
