Hi, I never get to use ZB2, but I know that it allowed you to model in the traditional way.
Is this still possible in ZB3?
Yes you’re able to. But it’s not a smart as in any 3d package.
- You should start with a cube,
- make it a unified skin by a resulution of 8 and smt of 0 and select it in your tool palette.
- then enable the uvs in the texture category in your tool-palette
- in the geometry section use the reconstruct subdiv button to get a nice cube of 6 sides.
- Show only one side or more and then press the edge-loop button. In this way you get the points and faces you need
- Again show only the part you want to change and move them along by transpose tools or your deformation settings.
hope this helps or use the plugin posted by ancomic, link above

Thanks for the good and quick replies.
I downloaded and installed the zplug, and to be honest, I don’t get how it works. I press a button that’s new, but nothing seems to happen.
There was a video with instructions? if so, it’s not avaiable anymore (just a picture with some buttons that I cannot find anywhere).
If you anyone could give me a tip it would be great.
Thanks
