Hi,
Is it possible in zbrush? I’ve never found the option.
Thanks.
I have found that if you have the right edgeflow, you can use the lasso select to click on one of the border edgeloop’s vertice or edge and this will hide it, then invert it and mask it or create a separate polygroup for it. Without the edgeloops however it is impossible to isolate an edge since zbrush doesn’t know what a border is.
Thanks.
In my case, it doesn’t work since it doesn’t have a good edge flow. It’s a piece of cloth coming from Marvelous Designer so it’s all triangulated and it has a complicated border because of the cloth simulation.
I was really hoping for a “Select Borders” button in Zbrush.
Oh I see, well you could try manually masking the borders once(doesn’t’ have to be too accurate) and go to edgeloop on the geometry tab and click on edgeloop masked border which creates an edgeloop around the borders and a different polygroup for it.
