Is there a way to boolean merge subtools using the merge function. I need to create one shell for a complicated model (1000 shells) for 3d printing but the remesh and dynomesh dont work.
Is there a boolean way to merge subtools into a single shell?

In what way doesn’t it work? Are you simply losing detail? If so, after you have merged things you can append the new model back to your original version. Divide it to have enough polys to support the detail and then use Project All to copy those details to the new model.
I am making a flat ship(like on a coin but more beveled). All the ropes get destroyed when I try to remesh at a high res and projection won’t work because the ropes are so fine they don’t come across in the initial remesh(dynamesh). If I could just boolean merge them all together to eradicate the inner parts it would be fine.
The 3d print keeps getting rejected because of too many shells.
If I find a zbrush fix I’ll post it here
