Bloody stuff is always fun :)

hi, i thought id make a place for the various bloody-gory Zart i make…

1.jpg

here is one

who doesnt like a good Zwhale?

Whale.jpg

lol
base mesh for the whale is SILO,
everything else in Zbrush

Even though I’m new, these need a LOT of work…

haha, i realize that
im use to using maya and a little of Zbrush, but here you see i am trying to learn the components of zbrush instead of importing.

this is really just for practice with software i am learning…

sorry if my thread is wasting space, but im sure no one started out as a pro
anyway, that the last 2 models were made in like 10 minutes, so i really just made them to post something, lol

ill try to post better models soon, lol, and i will use maya considering i know it, haha

of course, (if you look at my other work) you can tell i wasnt really trying on these, lol, thats really a problem i have with things i do when im bored,

anyway, sorry to bore you, ill get back to ACTUALLY trying with my models, lol

cheers-
-Andy

Ok, i made my own version of the elephant man!

eyes were photoshop.

shader edited in photoshop to give harsher lighting

ele.jpg

lol, cool. Looks like that happened by accident, :D.

haha, yes
it was, but then i added the neck, nose, mouthy thing, etc…
but the idea came from me just messing up a sphere! lol:rolleyes:

please comment, i need help

Hey Joopson,

These are really funny models :+1:
Very cool attitute to crits… keep on going man

Take care

Are you getting your basic form down in low polygon before adding detail?

don’t be affraid to import low poly ideas from maya, it is the most fun!

keep zbrushin!

haha, thanx

im not afraid of importing models, i just seem to get more ideas when sculpting strait in Zbrush… but i guess it could be cool to sketch in ZB, until i get an idea, and build a mesh in maya matching my idea or something, then sculpt and detail in ZB, idk… lol

ill try that i guess

sorry, lol, no maya in this model
but, i liked making it, haha

no background, i forgot actually

but, leave a comment

vulture.jpg

It doesn’t really look all that much different than the previous ones. It has the zbrush bobble about it which is what tends to happen when you go to high density polygon meshes before getting the basic form down in low polygon.

actually, i did that for a reason,
but i did start sculpting in low poly. actually, 20 polygons is where i started, lol… but yeah, i see what you mean… But, when i picture a vulture, i think of a lumpy gross birdie thing, lol… so yeah…
lol
idk, ill try to get my models less bobbly, lol

thanx

It’s a difficult thing to get used to. I’m not very good at it either.

Keep at it. :+1:

Here, try this. Go here, http://www.kurvstudios.com and click on the free tutorials section. After you register, go to the zbrush section and then watch the one called “Modeling a Spider in ZBrush” IIRC, the tutorial does a pretty good job at showing you what you want to do. And it doesn’t really matter if you start with zspheres or not, so don’t let that throw you.

I should probably watch it again too.

haha,
thanx alot, ill check that out ^_x
