Blender/ZBrush Issue

Hi.

I model in ZBrush and use Blender to unwrap UV’s.

I have used Blender in the past with no trouble but now I have a new computer and I’m unable to get it to install properly. I keep getting this error message whenever I start Blender:

Compiled with Python version 2.5.2.
’import site’ failed; use -v for traceback
Checking for installed Python… No installed Python found.
Only built-in modules are available. Some scripts may not run.
Continuing happily.

Yet, I see the Python files in my directory. I must have them in the wrong place. After I unzip Blender into the Programs subdirectory of the OS(x86) folder, the Python folder inside Blender is still zipped. Where does that go?

I understand there are 64-bit issues with Blender but if I’m only using it to unwrap UV’s, shouldn’t I be able to get it to work? I wonder if my problem might be with my directory organization.

If anyone out there is successfully using 64-bit Blender, could you possibly post a screen-shot of your directory showing where the Blender files and Python files should be loaded/unzipped?

I’m running a PC with 64-bit Vista Ultimate.

Thanks!

Do not unzip this file. YOu need to download pything from http://www.python.org/download/ and install it.
I’m not sure if it will work with 3.0 version so download the previous one. SHould work just fine.
