I thought I’d try something out of my comfort zone (usually busts and monsters)

I have worked a little bit more on this one, starting to add some form to one of the branches, I’ve never attempted a tree before. I wanted to make the branch look kinda old with the old bark breaking away revealing the new underneath.
Im using a whole new approach to my work now as I advance in Zbrush. Its so EASY to knock out what you want to do at a fast pace in Zbrush. Thats why I like to use it, fast’n’simple
if i may ask… do you intend to texture this?
if so…are you going to unwrap it and then paint it? or just polypaint?

Ok I’ve had more time to do a bit more of this one, I’ve decided to later add a fence due to it seeming a bit ‘empty’, a bit more detail, still recording every step so videos will be uploaded on request ok? just ask:))))

yeah I’m doing a mix of both, then sending all to maya, its my first ‘real’ texturing so I dont wanna ruin this man

I have started modelling the spider, I have not done the pedipalp and fangs and basically the head as Im doing that seperately. For now its about me refining the body and legs to add more detail there. The stand is purely for presentation purposes whilst showing off the spider rather than whole scene the whole time
