has anybody had any luck on rigging a mesh with a Mannequin ? doesn’t seem to work, or am I missing something here. not much in the docs about Mannequins.
Yes I tried the same and it doesnt work but I´m loving the mannequins I would like to know if we can make our own mannequins and how… not just adding zspheres but also the meshes between them. maybe just inserting connector meshes?
that’s quite disappointing. the mannequins would be ideal for rigging and animation.
maybe we are just really missing something and it is actually possible?

Rigging a model with a Mannequin does not currently work but it should be possible to write a plugin that makes it possible. I’ll look into it.

and if you think you could make it work with a plugin, then I’m sure it would be highly appreciated by many of us. the Mannequins are nice, but unless you can rig them they are more of a separate toy than really useful for the presentation/concept pipeline. they scream for mesh animation

Yes, you pose them in just the same way (though I believe it is forward kinematics).
terrific! yeah you are right-- forward. well… forward, backward - my head is ringing from investigating and testing all the new zbrush features and changes ( and the occasional startling bug).

Simply copy and paste the Mannequin in the same place and the ‘body parts’ will be removed.
