Big head needs more geometry please advise

Hi all!
Newbie husse needs some advise on making more geometry on this models head.
I guess retopology is the way to go and I have tried it but i can´t get it to be just quads and I have trouble getting it right. Since the head is where most detail is, I really need it to get some more polys.

Can someone please advise me?

If you don’t want to retopologize, you could add additional edge loops in selected places, the position of eyes for example. Select the polys you want to split then use the Edge Loop button in Tools / Geometry.

Also, check out this video on retopology. It’s about adding edge loops to a current mesh without having to rework the whole thing. In fact, there are a ton of awesome vids that everyone should watch in that thread.
