It’s always a great pleasure to see you have posted something new…even better on a Monday after a long day at work!! Thanks for making my day!
Hi Ralph,
I’m curious to know how you got a hold of material related to Ice Age 2?
50: Thanks, and Happy Halloween!!
javierloredo: Thanks, the material is one of my custom shader with a little Noise (0.02), Color Bump (4) and Cavity. It’s a one slot material. Important is a very soft Light (Rays 128, Length 400, Intensity 1.4, Ambient 2) and a color Light from the opposite side.
aminuts: Thanks, I’m glad you like it. Hope to finish the turtle next weekend.
pOiNtPuShEr: Not easy to write your nickname. Haha, it’s not a miracle, you can see a trailer about Ice Age 2 on the Robots DVD in the Extra section. I think the original design is from the genius concept artist
Peter De Sève.
Cheers

Hallo, kleiner Hinweis in eigener Sache.

Great work, great value!
I hope ya record it Ralf!! I would love to be there but it’s a little to far to swim this time of year.
Folks are gonna be in for a treat I think.
Oh yeah…nice to see ya!
Wow Ralf! You did it again! Really very cool stuff!
I still really admire your soft-rendering, so I was pleased to see you posted some of your settings above!
And… Good luck with the courses! My 3 years of Deutsch lessons were enough to read your description, but it won’t be enough for the entire course… (and btw… I’m a student… Also the money isn’t there
)
Thanks for the inspiration!

This thread is great, really love the second one.
Greetings friend
wonderful modeling Ralf…can you tell me please how do you model the eye balls?..i saw in the angler video that the eye is projected with an sphere surface…how?
Gut, gut!!
I love you smooth modeling style Rafl. Keep up the great work.
Marcus: Thanks!
aminuts: Maybe I repeat this next year in summer…haha
Dutchman: Thanks, and good luck with the uni.
Ilusiondigital: I’m glad you like it.
yolao: You have right, the eyeball is project with a sphere.
You start Projection Master then you can use any Brush tool
and also any 3D object that is load in the tool pallet to displace
the model. Check only deform.
Bas: Danke!
viad74: Thanks for comment.

Ok Ralf but I need about 2 months warning…I can only do the backstroke!
yikes! almost missed you updating this thread. the new fish looks just as cool as the previous ones, love the overbite! again, I must compliment you on being one of the few 3d artists with such a distinct and successful style, so that one can spot a stumpf-work a mile away.
ace stuff as always!
Hi Ralf,
nice perception of a big fish, i like it a lot, keep it up man.
Guten Tag bei Ihnen.
Are you the twin brother of Bobby Lapointe ?
Hi all,
aminuts: OK two mounth…and I send you a book for learning to swim the crawl!
Zork: Thanks as always for your nice comments.
Maya4fun: Thanks for the German line. I had 2 years French in school,
but it must be gone to get more space for shortcuts
Frenchy: I don’t know, maybe my mother don’t told me all.
