big dynamesh problem

When i use the clip brushs sometimes it creates a weird over hang/distotion and when I dynamesh it gets a bunch of holes in that area, even if I dynamesh again they remain, Is there tips on how to correct this or how to avoid overhang when using clip brushes, any help would be appreciated.

thin objects always generate holes. Dynamesh is based on volumes. If your volume is too thin, it doesn’t understand it and makes a hole.

the clipping artifact is how clipping brushes work. They “push” all geometry following the tangent of the curve. It doesn’t take into account any overhand and will create that artifact you see. Change up the way you’re using the clipping brushes and that should take care of it. Work big, to small with the clipping brush and you should get the results you’re looking for.
