Best way to wrap around?

Hello.

What is the best way to wrap a tileable Texture, or sculpting around an object?
Imagine i have a sleeve, and i have created an tileable aplha (such as a Cell patern), and i want it to seamlesly wrap sculpt around it.
Another example would be the torso of a suit…

There are a couple methods.

One is to turn the alpha into a stencil. The stencil can be set to tile, as well as to wrap onto the surface. If you only need to affect a small area of the model, this is a great solution.
