Hi folks, I’m new and have a descent knowledge of the basics as I have been toying with ZBrush. My expertise is in the realm of photoshop.
What I hope to achieve is being able to import my 2D art into Zbrush so I can extrude it, and perhaps add bevels to top edges for things relating to exporting to/for 3D printing in the jewelry field as prototypes.
I have access to the other Adobe products like Illustrator if needed as well.
Can someone point me in a direction/outline the process here? (Just getting a clean piece of art into zbrush, manipulating the imported work is the part I want to toy with afterwards and I think I’ll be ok with that) If there is a tutorial already and I missed it, sorry, it may be simply the lack of familiarity with terms in ZBrush thats holding me up.
Type of import file best suited for this? Photoshop or Illustrator for vector?
Thanks for any help and patience.
