I have a well sculpted skull with a fair about of large to medium detail and form. I want to apply the small scaled detail of bone texture, cracks, small pits and holes that you would see on a boney skull. I am using a high resolution image and spotlight to add in this texture but I find it warps and alters the general form of the skull too much.
how can I apply a boney texture using spotlight onto my geometry without warping and distorting the main skull? Is there a better way in doing this?
