Best way of sculpting eyes?

I’m having a hard time sculpting the eyes. I have tried using sphere subtools as the eyeballs, but I’m having difficulties making the eyelids, and the eyes are not entirely symetrical, not are entirely simetrycally positioned because they were two separate subtools.

So how do you use to do the eyes guys?

I’m a newbie, so I can’t tell you the “best way”. But if you are aiming for symmetry with the eyes,you could use the “InsertSphereBrush” (or hot-key combo B-I-W) and size/move them into place. Or you could just make a single sphere, position it, duplicate it, and then mirror the duplicate over symmetrically.

This tutorial by Scott Spencer goes through a complete character creation. It looks like he uses the eye method Armandobrown described.
