I have seen a lot of game models or models used for animation and they all seem to have different poses, sometimes they’re T poses, sometimes their arms are further down. I wonder what’s the best pose for a human who is going to be animated? And do animators compensate for how the deltoid deforms with additional bones to make the deltoid bulge when the arms are lowered and flatten out when the arm is stretched out?

As I know the T pose is the best and easy to rig. But if you want to use other poses be notice that the hands should make a 45 deg with body at least.
