Best Place to Save Matcaps in R2?

I was wondering where I should place all the MatCaps I’ve gathered from the Web over time? Should I make a folder in the Zbrush R2 folder? I’m trying to find the correct place, so that I can access them from Lightbox.

Thanks

Pixologic/Zbrush4r2/ZMaterials

or if you want your matcaps separate from the normal textures, make a sub folder in there called Matcaps.

Put them in the ZBrush 4R2/ZMaterials folder to access them through Lightbox. If you have all your Matcaps sorted into different folders, put the folders and all into the ZMaterials folder and Lightbox will retain all the subfolders.

@ Spyndel… The textures are in the ZTextures folder. He doesn’t have to worry about making a Matcap subfolder in ZMaterials folder.

I mispoke. I didn’t mean textures. I meant the normal non-matcap .zmt’s. The point is you can establish any subfolders you like for your own purposes.

Additionally, All the catagory names in Lightbox corresponnd to the folders in the ZBrush 4R2 directory.

Project > ZProjects
Tool > ZTools
Brush > ZBrushes
Texture > ZTextures
Alpha > ZAlphas
Material > ZMaterials
NoiseMaker > ZNoiseMakers etc.

Any subfolders and files you put in these folders will show in Lightbox.

While i’m on the subject, you will notice that there is a Spotlight catagory in Lightbox, but no folder to correspond to it in the ZBrush 4R2 directory.
All you have to do is create the folder manually in the ZBrush 4R2 root folder and call it “ZSpotlights” and you will be good to go.

@ Spyndel… LOL, i’m a slow typer and you post while I’m typing a new post.

I’m a ninja of editing.
