i want to export a Displacement Map and Import it in a 3D Programm.
First i have to setup the UV Mesh, but this isnt possible without a seam along the whole model. Then i choose a UV Map Size of 4096, a Boarder of 4. And all settings at standard position.
Then i export the DPM. It doesn’t matter if i select adaptive, smooth or 32 bit settings. Also the DPSubPix isn’t realy changing the result.
But the problem is, that the result in the 3D application shows the way of the seams in a way of weals or dents.
So, what are the best settings to reduce these artefacts? To achieve the best result? And how can i generate the sharp edges of elevations and hollows as they are in ZBrush? In the 3D application they are slightly smoothed and rounded. Also without the smoothing setting in the DPMextraction.
