Te ship-thingy was done in Max and the pilot and render is ZBrush. The background is a freebie from last months 3D World magazine.

A lot better than many peoples first attempts with Zbrush. Look forward to seeing the new stuff though.
Im trying to do a huge “Zeus” like character with him leaning on the side of Mount Olympus or something but I cant think of what he could be staring at in his hand. Maybe a small human maiden or possibly a hotdog?? This started as an anotomy practice, then a pose and now I guess I will try to go further.

thanks for looking.

I still have to finish the “Master” but here is Blaster, still a wip with some retouching but the main sculpting and retopo is done. The only reference I had to go by was this model pic that Im postingand after looking at it I see the watch/strap ting and the closed left fist arghhh:mad:

A little over 400,000 polys split between 14 sub-tools. Crits are surely welcome.

Great work here Beholder. The work on Master Blaster was masterful
I like the apple picker the most but the tree seems off to me. Maybe a bit more height but the branches are way too thick at the top. The place where the tree is losing control is just below the Y and up except for the apple itself. Maybe do a shadowbox for rough shape on the tree, then do a remesh in subtool, relax the shape and then pop it in sculptris to draw out a more natural shape. Then back to Z for detailing. I love that one shot where he is willing the apple to drop
