Beginners Question

Did you bother to download and install the Axis plug-in?
Informative, funny, out of date, broken links/missing images, still worth a read, you might gain insight or at least a chuckle

Is this actually the correct place to ask. I mean, I’m keeping you guys busy with beginners questions.

By the way something else:

What can I do to use the symmetry for the sphere only and not for the whole object?

Do you have the Axis plug?
Did you read the links I provided you?
http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/modeling-basics/creating-meshes/zspheres/basic-controls/

You’re drawing your zspheres on a different plane than your symmetry is currently using. You can update the latter using the Transform Palette.

Just facing something weird today:

This is what I got

Now I just moved the red marked sphere a bit towards the model and this is what happened in the next preview:

Answer me and we shall see.

Oh, I see.

Yes I wrote the describtion you posted but there wan’t realy anything I didn’t know already.

Also, ther’s something else:

This is my ZSphere model. When I hit preview, however, it doesn’t look very decent. Are there any tricks I could use to create a full modelled skin. Because right now there are even some holes in my model.

Number, position relative to others, scale and rotation. Skinning options(classic or adaptive)…Axis plug?
Bye.

Just one quick question:

Skipping to 2:20 you can see the brush settings he is using.

I’m using the same settings but somehow the circle looks way smaller. Have had this problem pretty often when I try to work with vid tuts that the brush is looking different although having the same settings. Anyone know why?

what circle is way smaller? if you mean the circle representing the brush, just increase the brush size…if you mean you are using the same size brush as in the vid and yet your brush circle is smaller, it’s because your sphere is much larger then the one in the video. if you scale the sphere down using “size” from the deformation palette then your brush circle will appear larger in relation to it.

Well, I just used one of the default spheres from the Lightbox like in the video, so I don’t understand why it should be larger.

It appears that Dynamic is enabled in Draw Size.

Oh, thank you very much, that’s it!

Btw, is there a way I can’t see my own thread when posting something in the list of recently made posts?
