Sorry if this is too easy a question for this forum but I am trying to create a striped tube and I can not figure out how to do it! Any help would be sooo appreciated. Thanks so much!
Without knowing more about the striping that you want, it’s hard to answer. But you could probably use a Cylinder3D. Adjust the Initialize settings to get the shape and polygon distribution that you want. Then use the Tool>Masking menu to mask by column or row. From there you can use a deformation to get ridges.
The initialize settings! D’ho! Those settings are really helping me to get the shape I am trying for. I am dumb. Thank you sooo much. This has been a thorn in my side I knew someone would have an answer for!

I have 3.5r2 and going along with the tutorial on using the Projection master here on pixo’s site.
Why does my version NOT have “Initialize” as a tool option??? Please help!
