Hi,
I’m really very new to ZBrush, and I have a number of questions. I’ve been reading my way through the zBrush info wiki, but am having a little trouble with the basics.
For instance I’m trying to modify one of the default tools. I’d like to make the Cylinder start off longer and skinnier what’s the best way to do that?

Hi lil-roo,
What you can do is go to the Tool:Initialize palette and set the setting that you like there…this palette is available only on primitive object is currently selected.

Thanks for your help I got it to work! DO you have any tips as to what is the best/ fastest way to dive in to the program? (ie. tutorials, documentation etc.?)

Well, I’m a tutorial freak myself…so what I will suggest you to do is start by the basic training which available free for you in the pixologic website, then only after that if you serious into this, probably can buy the tutorials from the provider out there, BUT the free good tutorials also available for you. Now its just the matter of you doing research and ask alot in this forum, and we will happy to answer the question for you.
