Beginer question projection master

Can someone suggest a workflow?

I am trying to model an old picture frame. I have modeled a base mesh in Maya and have exported it into zbrush…

Now I would like to texture it by adding an alpha deformation I made from the photographs…

I am trying to do this with the projection master.

I take my displacement 3d plane and when I tried to add it to my base model, it couldnt wrap around the contours,

What is the workflow involving this method of texturing something from real world photographs?

If anybody could please guide me as to how to add that level of displacement in zbrush (adding the displacement fine texture and zbrush base mesh together) I would so appreciate you! :+1:

Thanks

Anyone please I am kind of stuck as to how to move further,Thanks!!:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I found this tutorial and this is what (I think) I am trying to do…

Surface detailing with alphas Layers…

But with his layers, it seems to be more a kind of procedural pattern that he is drawing onto his mesh.

How do you add alpha detail directly using your reference pictures onto your mesh? (If thats possible?) Thanks
