Bat Mech

Hi, everyone
This is my first model working with Studio Hive.
It is a Bat Mech suit modeled based on a concept by Skan Srisuwan.
The concept is to have a mechanical suit built into the human body.
Also, the body proportion is leaning toward the comic style.
X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse (Super Nintendo) proportion style has inspired me.
The modeling started from ZBrush with some parts from 3DS Max.
I used Topogun for retopology and then rendered in Keyshot.
I hope you like it.

Best regards.

Looks like he is half Batman and half Jehuty from Zone of the Enders. Really cool concept and really excellent 3D execution :+1:

Oh, that’s so beautiful! Real quick, is his head too small or is that just the way it is supposed to be? (still digging it none the less-;))

Fantastic work! Excellent hard surface work and mech design. Looks amazing.

Many thanks guys ,appreciate your comments, really glad you like my work.

Great Batman concept love it and love all the nice details. Thumbs up!

Hi, Just wondering, what features of Topogun did you need which ZBrush doesn’t have? I had a look at the Topogun demo vid, and most of the functions can be done in ZBrush. Is it the, move vertices closer or away from original mesh function?

Hi weisern,I used Topogun for retopologizing. Yes, it can be done in ZBrush, but I find it faster and more simple.

very cool man

Thanks for the reply. I’m new to ZB so am always looking at what other software people use to complement their workflow.

The mechanical style of Batman,nice
