“Barfi” - Digital Sculpture
My digital sculpture “Barfi” is my homage to Satyajit Ray’s magical world in Gupy Gyne Bagha Byne, reimagined through an austere, weathered, and mystical visual grammar.
I have sought to embody the magician not as a mere figure of fantasy, but as an enigmatic vessel of charisma, wisdom, and theatrical wonder.
The fractured textures, archaic surface language, and deliberate eccentricity reflect my affection for controlled imperfection and expressive materiality.
Through this work, I reveal my inclination towards character-led sculpting, where psychology, folklore, and visual myth converge into one evocative presence.
