I know it’s jaggy but this is just a try-out, looking for the proper colors, materials. Thought to post it and see the comments before making a final.

Hi Fets. It’s looking good so far. I really like the way you’ve done the colors in the background and made lights the same color to shine on his face. Almost like HDRI.

I don’t know yet if I’m gonna make him sweat, after all he’s a native and used to the temperature, but if I were, what would be the proper way to create sweatdrops?
This was done about a zillion years ago using VER.1.23, so it would still work now…
Modelled drops, Flatten Layers off, drops on their own layer…

Stonecutter, I sure will give it a try but since the next pic is at sunset I can imagine it’s not as hot anymore as in daytime. I will make a variant of the same pic at high noon and believe you me, he’s gonna sweat like hell! 
Big regret: don’t have any time left to ad the sweat.
Will do it in the next couple of days. Wanna post the high noon picture anyhow. Did some minor PSwork on the sun because it disaooeared in best rendermode.

Hey Fets…
Add a layer on top, turn off ‘Flatten Layers’, add deformed spheres in any material, that you set transparent, and render…
(Not much time required to do that, bud… 
)
