Baking Poly painting to retoplogised model

I’m in a bit of a muddle I have added detail to a model I created in maya unwraped it with uv master, poly painted my model and with the feet, hands and body as subtools I then did retopology in topogun, managed to get a good normal, displacement and ambient occusion maps from medium res model. now I just don’t know how to get the poly paint details onto my low poly retopgised mesh, do i have to export everthing back to zbrush? or is there another way? because when i try to generate a color map in topogun the map is completely black can someone help me i’m losing sleep over this!

cgbootcamp.com have a very nice tutorial on baking ZBrush polypaint data to textures, using TopoGun. You should check that out.

you can use Xnormal. you can bake base texture from high res to your low res.

Aha! many thanks for the advice guys! managed to get my color maps from topogun had been select texture instead of verex color doh!
